We planned a lead based campaign on Facebook for a Fitness Service Provider in Amritsar. We ran a website clicks campaign on Facebook earlier but it didn’t work. Then we came across a new type of campaign called Collect Leads for Your Business. Facebook introduced a new type of campaign with a Lead Form integrated within the boost post, where if a user clicks on Read More or Enquire Now or Sign Up or Register Now, the enquiry form opens up, wherein user details like name, contact number, email address etc. were possible to obtain. Facebook stores those leads in the dashboard as soon as a user submits the details (leads are not stored on our website).
We started this campaign with a small budget of INR 500 per day, as we wanted to check the performance of the campaign. It didn’t work on the first day but thereafter it did, as the ad system requires time to optimize the campaign. This campaign has started delivering a good number of enquiries from day 3 onwards.

We specifically ran a campaign by radius targeting plus fitness & health related keywords. It worked and the cost per enquiry was also good. Instead of spending heavily on Google Adwords, we spent smartly on Facebook to acquire a greater number of leads. We did the same campaign on Google but it didn’t work. Facebook website click campaigns may fail to perform well, as users are taken to a landing page where he/she may or may not submit the details.
